Formulated by veterinarians, VETAHEX provides relief of itching and flaking seborrheic dermatitis. Its baby-mild shampoo base is gentle to skin and hair that has been abused by scratching and matting. VETAHEX lathers nicely, has non-offensive odor and is pH neutral. It effectively removes scales, degreases the skin and destroys microorganisms that primarily or secondarily cause dermatitis, and leaves hair clean, smooth and manageable.

Directions for use:
Massage VETAHEX into wet coat and lather freely. Allow to stand for 5-10 minutes and rinse thoroughly. This is the minimum contact time to ensure antimicrobial activity. Avoid getting water in ear canals or eyes. Towel coat dry and gently brush.
May be used twice weekly until symptoms are controlled or as directed by your veterinarian.

Actives: 3% Chlorhexidine Gluconate
VETAHEX is effective against Staphylococcus intermedius ( the most common bacterial found in skin infections), Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Malassezia pachydermatis.

Actions:
The Chlorhexidine in VETAHEX works by binding to hair and penetrating the follicle to eliminate bacteria. It destroys bacteria by disrupting the cell membrane and cell contents.

VETAHEX binds strongly to the skin and hair, resulting in a 4-day residual action. As Chlorhexidine is poorly absorbed through the skin, VETAHEX is completely safe.
VETAHEX does not dry or strip the coat of essential oils. pH neutral, specifically designed for your pet's skin.
